48hrs (1982) Review

A string of homicides, including the death of a fellow cop, leads Detective Jack Cates to release a small-time crook for 48hrs. Reggie Hammond only has a few months left on his sentence, but the threat of his previous partner getting away with his stash of cash is incentive enough to team-up with the hardheaded Cates. Can the two put their differences aside and stay focused long enough to settle the score, or Ganz and his team get away with it all?
